I think we have been spending too much time together.....I asked Steve if he would like to go out for lunch today....thinking it wouldn't be as crowded at lunch as at dinner time on Valentine's Day. He responded, "I thought we could just take the $20 and go and get 20 bags of manure for the garden." It hit me in the face when he said it (I didn't say anything at the time), but now I think it is pretty funny! I will post a picture of our manure when we get it....I think our stars are crossed today....and communication is weird...Oh, well...sometimes that's just the way it is. The day's not over yet!
At any rate...
Happy Valentine's Day
to you all!!
The nice thing about manure as compared to chocolates is.....
I bet no one will want me to
share it!
6 p.m.
I should explain that we had already decided we weren't going to do much for Valentine's. We have just celebrated our anniversary...and also we are very generous with ourselves when it comes to buying what we want or think we need...so we were going to keep it simple...
You can't get more simple than manure!
This is what we ended up doing:
And before you ask...."Yes, I use my BBQ almost everyday!"
...less mess in the kitchen and it taste so much better!
Update: January 16, 2009....the manure arrived ....and Steve got it on the garden.
It might be the best gift of all....because it is the gift that keeps on giving....first the aroma and then the nutrients to the veggies, which become nutrients to your system....ahhhh...
The Circle of Life.......can't you just hear the music?!
