I have tried to maintain some of the momentum I had while the little boys were here. Yesterday I shampooed my 18 year old carpet....it is still hanging in there, but needs to be replaced and is on the list of things to come soon..however, it shampooed up pretty good...and once again I am good to go for a couple of months.
Today was just a regular day....paid bills, washed bedding and hung it out in the sunshine...nothing smells better than lined dried sheets....and then I have just been messing around.
At the farmer's markets we have had people asking for tomatoes. The tomatoes are just coming off...and they are WONDERFUL!!! I am not going to sell any of them....just call it self indulgent...but that is OK. I will take some up to Flagstaff for the family up there...but most of them we will just eat......if we have an over abundance, I will make fresh spaghetti sauce and freeze it. Nothing taste better in the winter than tangy, zippy, fresh sauce. One of our tomatoes turned out to have quite the personality...so I am introducing to you, "Mr. Tomato Head"...he stands out among the others. I will take him up for the boys. Only Wyatt loves tomatoes....but they will all get a kick out it.
Now I guess you can say...."She has too much time on her hands if she is taking pictures of tomatoes!"

YUM!!!!!!!!
They are sooo good. I am so excited for mine up here to get ripe! The plants are starting to take over!!!!
(you KNOW how much jess loves your sauce!) You'll have to teach me.
There's such a thing as homemade sauce? Just kidding... but add it to the list of important things to teach me!!! Tyson & I love Mr. Tomato Head!
Mr. Tomatoe Head makes me laugh, I think he is kind of cute. Derek said he looked like a penguin. I have never seen a penguin like that before, maybe the nose looked more like a beak to him. I'm not so sure about a red penguin.
