Steve admiring his brother-in-law's hobby.
Mac-o-chee Castle...actually a manor home near Bellefontaine.
A view from our room in Walnut Creek, Ohio.
The most spectacular fall display of all!
Mary and Steve watching a flag football game.
Notice the corn field in the back ground
...it is harvest time!
Men don't grow old...they just rediscover their youth!
Lots of "big boy toys."
Always time for antiques....notice I have a purchase
in my hands....always just a little more space at home...
somewhere!
This is Blane's 1931 Ford Roadster...and it purrrs
when he drives it! Steve is sitting in the rumble
seat.
An Amish man unloading produce at the farmer's auction.
It's mum time! They were sold in large lots.
These cabbage heads were so perfect and looked
like they should be in a still life rather than made
into sauerkraut!
Steve and his older brother Bob....2 years older.
Apples, apples and more apples...we found a new
variety that we fell in love with...Honey Crisp.
We are going to order some and plant them at the
orchard in Camp Verde.
Gone and back home again....Steve wanted me to go with him to Ohio....so I did....we had planned on him going by himself, but with me being gone so much, he missed me and wanted me to go with him. Who can resist that kind of invitation? At the last minute...which is anytime less than two weeks, since that is when the good fares are, we purchased another ticket and off we went. We had a great time and it was good to see his family and some old friends.
